The Department for Citizenship, Asylum, and Migration (DCAM) information technology system database is undergoing a significant upgrade to address existing challenges and enhance interconnectivity within the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kosovo.
With support from IOM, DCAM’s system including modules on registration of migrants, reception center, asylum center, detention center, return and readmission, citizenship, foreigners services, and statistics have access to a single entry point on migration data. This technical advancement allows for system expansions and modifications, comprehensive maintenance, and the delivery of the system’s source code.
Bolstering digitalisation solutions is funded by Udenrigsministeriet through the Western Balkans Readmission Capacity Building Facility (WBCAP) and Western Balkans Integrated Border Management Capacity Building Facility (WBIBM).
We are proud to have contributed to the successful upgrade of the DCAM information technology system for the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kosovo. This project enhances interconnectivity and streamlines essential processes such as migrant registration, asylum services, return and readmission, and citizenship.
With cutting-edge digital solutions, the system now enables expanded functionalities, comprehensive maintenance, and a unified entry point for migration data—paving the way for future advancements.
We extend our highest appreciation to IOM, Udenrigsministeriet, and all partners for their dedication and support in bringing this transformative initiative to life.
